I remember, back in the late 80’s, early nineties, how there was this fear, set up by the GOP—that there would be a New World Order. GOPers jump on the concept that government is like Big Brother, and something to be despised.

Makes sense. There’s a reason like jokes, “I’m from the government and I’m here to help..” continue.

So, Reagan and Bush Sr rally their troops that we won’t let government of other countries encroach on us.

Again, makes sense.

I mean, China has been Communist for years and look how much they’ve influenced our government…

…I was being ironic. They’ve taken our jobs and livelihood, mostly due to GOP involvement.

I digress. Sorry, tired.

The fact was, it was easy to say that back when. 

There was no internet then.

Now? There’s a World Wide Web.

So, all the players in business HAVE to be international, even if they aren’t branching out in Kaula Lampur. If someone in Singapore can see your webpage, well, it better be nice and manageable, ya know?

So it makes sense that Google, of all people, who hires individuals around the globe would want to hire the best of the best-and sometimes those happen to be queer. I support American businesses and see this as an awesome move.

Yes, it’s a bit New World Order. But with the world’s need for the omnipotent Google, things are going to have to change some!
