When my neice was out here, a spry 17 year old who had all the answers, Mrs. Palin popped up on our television and I started gagging about how much I hated her. My youngest family member glanced at me and stated, "wait, you hate a woman in politics?"

I looked back at her and stated, "tell me what politics she's actually completed, my dear?"
Teenagers are a smart bunch. That's why there are so many of them.

"She was governor of Alaska!"

"No, she didn't finish that job or go back to it."

"Oh."

My disgust for Mrs. Palin is that she is like everyone else--she has no real agenda or purpose other than to seek fame for fame's sake. She has achieved nothing. This book is ghost written. And it bothers me that people tend to venerate her. She is merely a celebrity right up there with Paris Hilton and Beetlejuice.

And I think she exemplifies everything wrong with politics on the right.
